ACOA awards Maplewave $3.5 million to promote innovation and exporting.
DARTMOUTH, NS - February 13, 2019: High-growth companies are forces of economic growth in Canada. Organizations like Maplewave are especially important to Atlantic Canada's growth, as they promote innovation and exporting, leading to job creation.
The Government of Canada has awarded Maplewave repayable contributions totaling $3.5 million. These contributions will assist Maplewave's development of next generation retail management software and promote the overall growth of the company.

The contribution announcement was made by Darren Fisher, Member of Parliament for Dartmouth-Cole Harbour, on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister on February 12 at the Maplewave Headquarters in Dartmouth, NS. Contributions were made from Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency's (ACOA) Atlantic Innovation Fund ($3,000,0000) and the Business Development Project ($500,000).

Maplewave is developing a new generation of software that will help telecommunication retailers improve their operations, increase efficiency, and cut costs.
